Introducing Dr. Mandeep Kaur Rai-Dhillon – Funder and Supporter.

We are very proud to have Mandeep as one of our respected ‘ Funders and Supporters’. Mandeep is the niece of Kamaljit Singh Mann, one of our Committee Members  and Funders. She was born and raised in the U.K and continues to reside there with her husband  and two sons.   Her work takes her all across the world.

Mandeep is a global authority on values, working with companies, institutions, and individuals around the world. She has travelled to more than 150 countries and reported as a journalist for the BBC World Service ,Reuters, CNN amongst others.

She began her career in private banking at JPMorgan, and later worked for the United Nations, the European Commission, and grassroots NGOs before setting up the UAE’s first media venture capital fund.

She studied philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE), has an MSc in International Development from the London School of Economics, and completed an MBA at London Business School, with a year at Harvard Business School and MIT. She also holds a PhD in global values.

Her book ‘The Values Compass’ has become a bestseller and has been recommended by highly eminent people such as Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama. In this book Mandeep takes us on a journey to 101 countries around the world, highlighting a single, unique value that has defined each nation’s history, culture, and global influence – and how we can apply them to better our own lives and make decisions more effectively. She is now working on a global podcast.

As someone who has read her book, I can confirm its authentic and unique voice. Mandeep blends her extensive knowledge with her firsthand experiences from her travels. She shows how each country has something unique to offer in terms of values and what important lessons we can learn from them.

She skilfully weaves this narrative with her own intimate experience of growing up in a Punjabi Sikh family in the U.K. Giving us valuable insights of how this beautiful nurturing (Sanskar) has positively developed her own values and outlook on life and established how she relates to the world with a sense of positivity, enthusiasm and optimism.
